Echoes of the Past (1st Place Feature Picture Story)
photos by Scott Strazzante, Chicago Tribune - Chicago, IL
In 2002, Harlow and Jean Cagwin left their 118-acre cattle farm in Lockport, Illinois to make room for the Willow Walk subdivision. Five years later, Ed and Amanda Grabenhofer and their four children have settled in at the end of Cinnamon Court. This series compares and contrasts these two very different ways of life on the same piece of land.
